Who operates this program
DynamicDuo LLC is a software company registered in Columbus, Ohio, United States. We build and operate work management software for business customers. Questions about this messaging program: ryan@dynamicduo.io.
Which platform sends these messages
Under contract, DynamicDuo LLC builds and operates the AEP Ohio Engineering Command Center (aoecc.co), a work management platform used by that utility’s distribution engineering staff. Messages for this program are sent on behalf of that platform and identify themselves as “AEP Ohio ECC” so recipients recognize the system they signed in to. DynamicDuo LLC is the operator of record for the messaging program and the registrant of the toll-free number used to send it.
What messages we send
Registered users of that platform may opt in to receive transactional account notifications about work assigned to them — for example, an outage investigation dispatched to them, an equipment settings form awaiting their review, or an operational system notice. These messages are strictly transactional. We never send marketing or promotional text messages, and we never sell or share mobile numbers.
How users opt in
The platform is an internal workplace tool with administrator provisioned accounts, so consent is collected inside the signed in application at aoecc.co. A user opens Account → Text alerts, enters their own mobile number, and checks an explicit consent box confirming they agree to receive operational text alerts at that number. The consent box states the message purpose, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and that STOP and HELP keywords are supported.
Because accounts are provisioned by an administrator, that page is behind the platform’s sign in and cannot be reached by the public; the consent screen is reproduced in the screenshot submitted with our messaging registration.
Consent is never a condition of employment or of using our software, a user can only enroll their own number, and we never purchase or import phone numbers from third parties.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on the work assigned to each user — typically a few messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out and getting help
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving messages at any time. Users can also turn alerts off on the same account page where they opted in.
- Reply HELP for assistance, or email ryan@dynamicduo.io.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Mobile numbers and opt-in status are used solely to deliver these notifications. They are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing, and are not shared with anyone other than the messaging providers required to deliver the messages. Data is stored on access controlled servers in the United States and encrypted in transit and at rest. To request deletion of your number, email ryan@dynamicduo.io.
